P H Y S I O T H E R A P Y
SOUTH SURREY, BC
I grew up playing various sports, with my primary sport being basketball. In high school I suffered a full tear of one of the ligaments in my knee, which side-lined me for the rest of the year. The first surgeon I saw told me to stop running and playing sports, and just stick to cycling. I was devastated. At 16 years old, I wasn't ready to give up what I loved. Needless to say, I saw a different surgeon, had knee surgery, and started physiotherapy soon after. I was able to successfully return to the basketball court for my last year of high school.
Going through that experience was what led me to ultimately choose to pursue physiotherapy as a career; I want to do whatever I can to help others get back to doing what they love, and to help them reach their full potential.
